Beautiful heavy brass, no breaks, dents, or damages.  In perfect working condition.  This wonderful courting brass candle holder is a great conversation piece.  It measures 4" high, and 5" at widest point.  Back then, it's a tradition when the suitor came for a visit, he could stay until the flame burned down to the top of the iron ring.  But when the father did not approve of the young man, the candle height was lowered with the turning knob.  When the candle is high, the father approved.  However, when the candle set to low, he needs to go.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
